About SunnyBows

In 2011, I lost my beloved horse, Sunny, who owned me for 25 years. I came back into the horse show world by grooming at a local show. I noticed the pretty bows all the young girls were wearing and I know I could make them. So I started SunnyBows in memory of Sunny.

All the hairbows I make are made in a smoke free home. Each and every bow I make is made as if it was for my own daughter, Emily who is one of my biggest fans. You will not be disappointed.

Email me at imakesunnybows@aol.com if you are interested in purchasing hairbows.

Congratulations to Sara Murphy and Mini Me on their big win in the $500 Sunnybows Pony Hunter Classic,  at the Sonoma Horse Park yesterday August 26, 2012!
Hello Everyone I haven't written in my blog for a while so here is some!
June 5, 2012

This sunday will be the first horse show SunnyBows will be attending The Smithtown Hunt Show at Old Field Farm this season. I truly can't wait to go. As a teenager I groomed often at these show grounds and I have wonderful memories.
I have designed and stitched this piece to be given to Old Field to raffle off to help fund their continuing restoration efforts to get the grounds back to their former glory. For more information about Old Field Farm visit their website http://www.oldfieldfarmltd.com/index.htm

Autunm

Hi Everyone.. Kids are back in school! Leaves are falling from the trees. Liz thought that SunnyBows would be pretty idle now however she has a Tack Shop in Arizona -The Pampered Horse and Rider. They will be selling the bows at local horse shows. I found out that this is their time for showing since during the summer its way to hot to ride.

Last weekend SunnyBows and Liz were at a Swap Meet and Fun Show at Hidden Pond Stables in Manorville. What a beautiful day, Liz was walking around looking at the different vendors and Swap Items and met Betsy - She makes shopping bags from recycling feed bags. They are so unique.  Here is her website
Please stop by and view these unique bags. She is also on Facebook under Betsy sews. Tell her SunnyBows and Liz sent you.

SunnyBows will be making some Christmas Hairbows. Order yours today!
